The House Is Open
Twenty-eight golfers arrived at Rockway for the fourth annual Fall Classic and its biggest field yet. Inspired by Las Vegas, the tournament mixed familiar Fall Classic rules with dice rolls, casino games, strategic wagers, and new ways for luck to either rescue a round or make it considerably worse.
By this point, returning players understood the spirit of the event and helped introduce new golfers to the madness. The Fall Classic had grown into a day people knew, anticipated, and wanted to share.
Most importantly, the players’ willingness to embrace the games, challenges, and casino table helped raise funds for emerging and student filmmakers through the Fable Forest Film Fund.

How the Day Played
Dice rolls could award valuable tickets—or take them away. Players earned mulligans, made tossed shots, attempted one-handed putts, faced the seven-iron hole, and took on the dreaded sand-trap challenge.
The format rewarded strong golf, but strategy, luck, and a willingness to play along remained equally important.
Four years in, the Fall Classic had become what Ken originally imagined: filmmakers, family, friends, and community supporters sharing a day together, building memories, and helping create opportunities for future storytellers.
Moments We’ll Remember
Lex was the first player to reach the green on the 16th and proudly wrote his name on the Closest to the Pin marker, declaring it the best day of his life.
Jason Shine then stepped up and placed his shot only inches from the cup.
New mother Jenna Green channeled what the recap email described as “new-mom energy” to claim the Women’s Long Drive prize.
Behind the scenes, Hayley helped keep the tournament moving while Ash captured the day on camera—despite sustaining an unfortunate knock to the head in the process.
